BUSANZIP Stir-Fried Spicy Webfoot Octopus

While my best friend is enjoying the cherry blossoms in Busan, I'm savoring stir-fried spicy webfoot octopus in the same city. She's in Korea, and I'm here in Kuala Lumpur. Do you have to go all the way to Busan for Korean stir-fried spicy octopus? Not necessarily, just head over to Hartamas! But before you rush to BUSANZIP, there are a few things to consider.
Firstly, be prepared to wait in line for at least half an hour to an hour. Secondly, dining time is limited to 90 minutes, so if you prefer to leisurely enjoy your meal, this place might not be ideal. Thirdly, with so many delicious Korean dishes to try, it's best not to dine alone. Gather a group of friends to share a variety of dishes. However, don't bring more than 6 people, as this cozy restaurant doesn't have enough seating for larger groups.
After taking these factors into account, you can begin ordering. The standout dish is undoubtedly their Korean stir-fried webfoot octopus. When our group of 7 visited, we ordered stir-fried spicy webfoot octopus with Korean beef intestines (2 portions) and stir-fried webfoot spicy octopus with shrimp (2 portions), along with rice cake noodles and glass noodles. In addition to the stir-fried octopus, we also indulged in spicy cold wheat noodles, sweet rice balls, and fried rice with radish kimchi, with each person also receiving a bowl of soup.

The stir-fried spicy webfoot octopus, served with vegetables and perilla leaves, was absolutely delightful! The combination of various vegetable textures and chewy baby octopus made it a truly memorable dish. After finishing the octopus, we used the remaining side dishes and Korean spicy sauce to make fried rice, paired with kimchi and grilled cheese, creating a flavorful rice dish!
In addition to the stir-fried spicy webfoot octopus and radish kimchi fried rice, the spicy cold wheat noodles were refreshing and appetizing, and the sweet rice balls were a delightful treat. And let's not forget the charming Oppa boss, who personally attends to each table, his warm smile and friendly interactions captivating some of the enamored girls. After our dining experience, we unanimously agreed that BUSANZIP is one of the top Korean restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. Typically, we cover our own expenses when exploring new places, and this meal set us back around RM450 in total (approximately RM60 per person).
