The scent of perfume can be a symbol of one's identity, as well as a vessel for memories. With thousands of specially crafted perfumes on the market, there are countless raw materials used in perfume making. At the Parfumeurco perfume blending workshop, I had the opportunity to experience the mysterious process of creating my own signature scent. It was not only a feast for the senses but also a journey of self-discovery. The first step in blending a perfume is selecting its three main layers: top, middle, and base notes. The top notes are the initial scents that greet the nose, forming the perfume's first impression. The middle notes represent the perfume's heart, showcasing its character and style. The base notes are the long-lasting undertones that linger, leaving a lasting impression. With the guidance of a perfumer, I carefully chose my favorite scents from a wide range of fragrance oils, then refined my selection through a second round, recording the unique characteristics of each essence.

While my best friend is enjoying the cherry blossoms in Busan, I'm savoring stir-fried spicy webfoot octopus in the same city. She's in Korea, and I'm here in Kuala Lumpur. Do you have to go all the way to Busan for Korean stir-fried spicy octopus? Not necessarily, just head over to Hartamas! But before you rush to BUSANZIP, there are a few things to consider. Firstly, be prepared to wait in line for at least half an hour to an hour. Secondly, dining time is limited to 90 minutes, so if you prefer to leisurely enjoy your meal, this place might not be ideal. Thirdly, with so many delicious Korean dishes to try, it's best not to dine alone. Gather a group of friends to share a variety of dishes. However, don't bring more than 6 people, as this cozy restaurant doesn't have enough seating for larger groups.

Leading the charts as the longest mural street in Malaysia is undeniably "Lorong Seni Seremban," situated in Negeri Sembilan. Upon our visit to capture videos and photos, we noticed the entire alley surprisingly quiet, with parked vehicles lining the sides. This hints at a gradual decline in the mural street trend. Without consistent maintenance and vigorous promotion by the local government, this alley risks losing its vivid colors, presenting a dim and lackluster appearance. This extensive mural street stands as a testament to the dedication and hard work of many individuals, their efforts symbolized by the sweat and toil they've invested.

Today, let's explore the exquisite buffet at Royale Chulan Seremban. Asiatique buffet caters to morning, lunch / hi-tea, and dinner sessions. The spread encompasses a variety of offerings, including Western-style bread, pastries, nasi lemak, fried eggs, noodle soup, porridge, fruits, salad, seafood, cheese, grilled meats, fried rice, fried noodles, chicken curry, pasta, and authentic traditional dishes. The breakfast standouts for me were the nasi lemak and the delectable rendang chicken! While lunch and afternoon tea didn't boast any particularly memorable dishes, dinner takes center stage with a barbecue buffet featuring aromatic and succulent options like grilled chicken, fish, and satays — a tantalizing array rich in protein. Personally, I found the grilled lamb shoulder a bit chewy and challenging to bite through. However, the grilled lamb chops pleasantly surprised me, and both the grilled chicken and fish were incredibly flavorful and juicy.
